What information do we collect?

We collect information from you that you provide to us when filling out a form, registering for an event or requesting contact from us. We also collect general information from our website to monitor traffic, downloads and most common navigation paths through our website – in order to improve your experience of our website.

When ordering or registering for an event on our site (or through the Planning Center or other relevant platform), as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your: name, e-mail address, mailing address or phone number or other relevant information. You may, however, visit our site anonymously.

You will only receive SMSes or WhatsApps from us in response to a query you may have made, or to give you information regarding an event, ministry or promotion that you have consented to communication for. If, at any point, you no longer wish to receive SMSes from us you can simply reply with the word “STOP” which will automatically remove you from our BulkSMS service.

Linkway Church WhatsApp Groups

Linkway Church maintains numerous WhatsApp groups for communication and ministry purposes. Many of these groups are administered by the employed staff of Linkway Church, while others are not. Addition to these WhatsApp groups are by consent only and include consent to this policy. Joining of a group, and remaining in the group, constitutes continuing consent to others’ ability to see your posts in the group, your cellphone number & name along with any other public WhatsApp profile information (for instance: your profile picture, WhatsApp status etc). You are free to leave these groups at any point should you no longer consent to these terms or wish to receive communication.

Common Privacy Policy

This online privacy policy applies to information collected through our website, Planning Center platform and any other relevant platforms including, but not limited to Facebook, Youtube, Google Forms and WhatsApp. Any information collected in person is also subject to this policy.

By using our site, or any of the platforms mentioned above, you consent to this privacy policy. By completing any in-person (paper) sign ups, you consent to this policy. All collected information is stored safely and securely in the Linkway Church offices, or securely online. You have the right to be removed from any and all of our databases, mailing lists, BulkSMS groups or WhatsApp groups. In addition, you have the right to access your personal information we have collected and stored through your use of our website, other platforms or personal contact.
