At Linkway, worship goes way beyond just music, and we believe that worship through music is as important to a Sunday morning as receiving an awesome preached message. If you’d like to get involved in this ministry as a vocalist or musician, then please contact us.

Audiovisual

There are a number of places where you could get involved in our AV ministry. We’ll provide you with some training so that you could join the team as a:

• Camera operator
• Sound engineer
• PC operator
• Live video switcher

Bothasig Gardens Outreach

We have a team that ministers in Bothasig Gardens accommodations (formerly Kent Durr) on a monthly basis to encourage the community there; especially the elderly. If you’d like to get involved, please contact us.

Coffee Prep

As a church we get to enjoy delicious (and free!) filter coffee after our services. This is made possible by the group of committed volunteers who brew the best. If you’d like to join the team, please contact us

Ignite

Every Friday during term time, from 6pm to 7.30pm our primary schoolers (Grade R-6) join us for an evening of fun and learning. Our passionate team of volunteers teach about Jesus, lead kids in worship and generate the vibe. Contact us if you’d like to know more or are interesting in getting involved as a volunteer.

Griefshare

Dealing with the loss of a loved one can be really difficult. This 13-week interactive course is hosted by a facilitator who will help lead the group into a place of healing and wholeness. If you’d like to find out more or get involved, please get in touch with us.

Karl Bremer Outreach

Once a month on a Saturday, a group of ladies visit the Kangaroo ward at Karl Bremer Hospital to encourage the ladies who have had premature babies, and provide them with some much needed help in the form of baby clothing and items. Link Ladies

Our ladies get together on the first Thursday of every month at 7.30pm for some wonderful times together! If you’d like to know more about upcoming events, or get involved as a volunteer, please contact us.

Link Groups

Link Groups are the heartbeat of our church! These are small community groups that meet in homes once a week to support each other, grow in our love for Jesus, pray and exercise our gifts. If you’d like to try out a group, we have groups meeting at various times so we’re sure you’ll be able to find a great spiritual home. Please contact us for more info.

Linkway Men

It’s vital that men have a place to meet together where they can speak their mind, be challenged and grow in faith. Our men meet once a month for exactly this reason, and have a lot of fun at the same time. If you’d like to find out more or get involved as a volunteer, please contact us.

Prep Team

Every Sunday there are dozens of jobs that need doing behind the scenes on a practical level to make sure that our venues are ready to welcome people. Whether this putting out flags, helping with parking, switching on lights, opening windows, checking bathrooms etc this team gets to serve Jesus (and us) in this practical way. If you’d like to join this team, please get in contact with us.

Primetime

For those in the retirement phase of life, join with us once a month on a Tuesday morning for some encouragement and fellowship! If you’d like to find out more or get involved as a volunteer, please get in touch with us.

Renewal Team

Every Sunday we create opportunities for people to hear from the Holy Spirit for their own lives and then respond to Jesus in faith. Our renewal team is waiting to pray for you, speak prophetically into your life or simply impart what is on the Father’s heart for you as He may lead us.

Revolve

If you are in Grade 7-12, we would love for you to join us on Friday nights during term time from 7.30pm – 9pm for a great time to hang out, do awesome activities, hear more about Jesus and be exposed to worship and prophetic ministry. To find out more, or if you’d like to serve as a volunteer, please get in touch with us. We partner with Remerge Ministries for combined events (every term) and an annual camp.

Sunday School

Every Sunday, our Grade R-6’s have a morning planned just for them! They join with us for the beginning of our worship service and then make their way to their own venue for separate teaching & activities before splitting off into age-specific groups for more focused time to get to know each other and discuss the morning’s teaching. We provide a snack and a drink as well. To find out more, or to get involved as a volunteer, please contact us.

Please note: during the COVID-19 pandemic, things are looking a bit different with our program and Sunday School is only running during out 8.30am service.

Toddler Class

Every Sunday our Toddler Class teachers are ready to put a massive smile on your child’s face! Kids aged 2-5 join us for a morning of fun, snacks, play and lots of learning about Jesus from leaders who will pray for them, love them and ensure they have a wonderful morning.
