Link Groups are small groups that meet during the week in homes to support & care for one another, and to grow in our faith in Jesus. We currently have a total of 20 different groups, covering almost every day of the week. Click on any of the leaders below to get a bit of an idea of what their group is all all about!
There are 6 distinctives or aspects of Link Group life: 1word, 2fellowship, 3prayer, 4exercising the gifts of the Holy Spirit, 5caring and 6worship. Our Link Group leaders strive to have a healthy balance of these different aspects, but it won’t always be possible for each element to receive special attention during roughly 90 minutes of meeting together. As a result, you can expect that over the course of a term there will be exposure to each aspect.

Wednesdays, 7pm (Linkway Church)We’re a Link Group at Linkway doing life together – real talk, real faith, real friendship. Every week we gather to worship, dig into God’s Word, and open our hands generously with our time, talents, and love for others. No pressure, no perfect answers – just honest conversation, good questions, and grace for the journey. We laugh, we pray, we sing, and we cheer each other on as we figure out what it means to follow Jesus together, one week at a time.

Tuesdays, 7pm (Edgemead)We’re a Jesus-centred group of normal people navigating life together, supporting one another and following God’s calling on our lives. We’re building deeper friendships, growing in our faith and knowledge of the Word, and living it out practically. Thursdays, 10am (Linkway Church)As the Linkway ‘Care and Share’ ladies group, our mission is to Love Jesus, Love people. We do this through adopting a warm and safe ‘family like’ environment where we can fellowship together as ladies, building strong and meaningful relationships that last. We love, care and pray regularly for each other. We share from the heart, while promoting confidentiality that allows for a sincere atmosphere of trust within the group. We will walk with you during difficult times; always praying that God’s will, will be fulfilled in your life.

Tuesdays, 4pm (Edgemead)We’re a group of about 12 mainly retired folk who meet at 7 pm on a Monday to praise our God, proclaim the truth of the gospel and sow into each other’s lives with a sense of belonging. We actively look after orphans, not only in Love Month but all year round endeavouring to live out Psalm 68:5, “A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in his holy dwelling.”

Ladies of all ages are welcome to join our fellowship which feels like family; full of love and care for each other. Our focus is on Jesus in every area of our lives and our aim is to guide us on this road of discovery and victory in our walk with our Lord. My prayer over our group is Ephesians 1:17, “that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of him…”

Thursdays, 10am (Edgemead)Our Link Group consists of retirees who meet Thursday mornings at 10am in Edgemead. We share life’s journey and support each other prayerfully. We have a time of worship singing the old choruses (from our times) and sharing testimonies and enjoy fellowship in a relaxed mode. God’s word is very important to us and we dig into it together while we become a family unit that loves Jesus. Every week we finish off with tea & coffee – and sometimes with something nice to eat!
